After years of playing a teenager, with no sense of responsibility and a distorted perspective towards life, Shailene Woodley finally seems to have figured out what she wants from life.
The first thing is that she is fed up of playing a teenager, and as she approaches her twenties, she is hoping for some more mature roles to come her way.
Does that mean that we will no longer be able to watch her on The Secret Life of the American Teenager?
Well, that can best be decided when the time comes.
Whatever might be the case, we will always be able to watch as much of her as we wish to, by tuning in to the show online.
Talking of her renewed approach towards her career, Shailene seems to be a class apart from the other stars of her age, as she openly admits that she does not consider herself to be a star, and never will.
In a statement that is difficult to believe, the starlet said that she never dreamt of being a star.
Then why on earth did she choose to become a part of the most glamorous industry in the world?
She says that she considers herself to be an artist, and not a celebrity.
We must say, that is a great way of putting it!
If only we had more celebrities like this lovely lady! But then, where would the gossip fodder come from?
LOL!
Shailene seemed to be on the path to enlightenment, as she talked about how she has discovered that the platform of being an actor, can be used to spread love and compassion in the world.
We wonder if the girl is saying all this just in an attempt to sound mature, or if that is what she really thinks!
Well, whatever might be the case, what’s for sure, is that we totally love this girl in her role on the show, and do hope that she is here to stay!
